Dog Fitness
There is no doubt that some breeds have energy to burn! However all dogs require exercise. This keeps them healthy and happy, can lead to a longer life and certainly puts a grin on their faces.
Most dog breeds will require a minimum of 1 mile a day when it comes to walking and usually quite a bit more.
Obviously the breed, size and age of a dog can be key factors but a healthy dog can take a lot of exercise-it doesn't have to be vigorous exercise.
Walking is known to help balance a dog's mood, keeps their weight down and can make them more responsive to training.
